Eagle has gone 8-2 against Kuna recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field against the Kavemen at 5:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Eagle sitting on five straight victories and Kuna on four.
Eagle's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Meridian 15-0. Considering the Mustangs have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Peyton Bargen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Ellie McManigal was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March. Aly Vieira was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Eagle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meridian only posted an OBP of .167.
Meanwhile, Kuna posted their closest win since March 21st on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Boise, sneaking past 4-2.
Rylee Mangum spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits.
At the plate, Kuna's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Elle Wemhoff, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Amber Harwood, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
Eagle pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Kuna, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Eagle has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .486. However, it's not like Kuna struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Eagle skirted past Kuna 8-7 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Kavemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
