Football Game Preview: Yonkers Bulldogs vs. New Rochelle Huguenots

The Yonkers Bulldogs will head out to challenge the New Rochelle Huguenots at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Yonkers is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: North Rockland, who was ranked tenth at the time (Yonkers was ranked eighth). The Bulldogs came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 27-18 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, New Rochelle strolled into their game last Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured an 18-13 W against North Rockland.

New Rochelle's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Yonkers, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Yonkers came up short against New Rochelle in their previous meeting on April 7th, falling 31-18. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
