Basketball Game Preview: Parkway West Longhorns vs. North Point Grizzlies

The Parkway West Longhorns will take on the North Point Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Parkway West is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Lift for Life Academy, who was ranked sixth at the time (Parkway West was ranked 24th). Parkway West was dealt a 68-38 loss at the hands of Lift for Life Academy on Thursday. The Longhorns' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, North Point was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 37-31 to Timberland. The contest marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Parkway West fell to 6-1. As for North Point, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
