Volleyball Recap: Wheelersburg Starts off Right with Win over Chillicothe

Wheelersburg gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Chillicothe Cavaliers 3-0.

Wheelersburg was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-11.

Alyssa Mullins paced Wheelersburg's offense, picking up 15 kills. Mullins got some help from Ella Chamberlin and her 32 assists. Chamberlin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Wheelersburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against South Point on the 20th. As for Chillicothe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Unioto on the 20th.
