Recap: Kings Knights vs. West Clermont Wolves
There's no place like home for the Kings Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They secured a 50-44 W over West Clermont on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kings also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
West Clermont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Layla Hale, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Paige Rodriguez, who scored 14 points.
Kings' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for West Clermont, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kings will face off against Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Walnut Hills is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. As for West Clermont, they will head out on the road to square off against Winton Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
