Volleyball Recap: Micah Schiralli and Logan Bronner Secure Win for Chittenango

Chittenango won the last time they faced Westmoreland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Chittenango Bears blew past the Westmoreland Bulldogs 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-5.

Leading Chittenango to victory were Logan Bronner and Micah Schiralli. Bronner had six aces and three digs, while Schiralli had five digs and three aces. Those six aces gave Bronner a new career-high.

Chittenango's record now sits at 4-1. As for Westmoreland, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Chittenango is headed away from home for the first time to take on Mt. Markham at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westmoreland, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rome Free Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
