Softball Recap: McKinney Takes a Loss

McKinney fell victim to Allen and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

McKinney saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbi James, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

McKinney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21-1. As for Allen, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-12-1 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as McKinney Lions challenge Princeton Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Allen, they will head out on the road to take on Midway at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Midway will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Allen surely won't give up without a fight.
