Basketball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

After flying high against York last Monday, Jamestown came back down to earth. The Jamestown Eagles came up short against the Grafton Clippers on Tuesday, falling 62-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-34 back in January.

Taylor Ragland continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grafton, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Ragland is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mya Napoleoni, who went 7-for-13 on her way to 16 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.

Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Grafton, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

As of now, neither Jamestown nor Grafton have any future games scheduled.
