Soccer Game Preview: Narraguagus vs. Richmond

The Narraguagus Knights will take on the Richmond Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Narraguagus is headed into Wednesday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They came up short against Penobscot Valley on Monday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Richmond was a bit more limited in their contest last Friday. They lost 7-0 to Monmouth Academy. While losing is never fun, Richmond can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Monmouth Academy are ranked 17th).

Narraguagus' defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.
