Hamilton is 9-1 against Liberty since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Hamilton will venture away from home to take on Liberty at 4:30 p.m.

Hamilton came up short against Beardstown on Monday, falling 7-1. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday Liberty's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against Rushville-Industry.

Chandler John spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ally Lefringhouse was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two doubles, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Obert, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Liberty's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Hamilton took their victory against Liberty when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-2. Will Hamilton repeat their success, or does Liberty has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
