Basketball Game Preview: Brooks Eagles vs. Clark Eagles + Official Tickets

Having just played yesterday, Brooks will head out on the road to face off against Clark at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Brooks has given up an average of 51.8 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Brooks challenged Thornwood on Friday. The Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to the Thunderbirds. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clark walked away with it. They came out on top against the Admirals by a score of 59-48 on Monday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Admirals are ranked 323rd).

Clark's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Brooks, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Brooks was taken down by Clark 64-30 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Brooks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
