Basketball Recap: Bingham Miners vs. Corner Canyon Chargers
Corner Canyon typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Bingham proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 58-48 victory over the Corner Canyon Chargers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-41 back in January.
Bingham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addy Horsley, who went 7-for-14 on her way to 18 points and six assists. Lena Casperson was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 10 points and five steals.
Horsley wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Bingham was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
When it comes to explaining why Corner Canyon lost, don't look at Addi Yeomans. Despite the final result, she went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points and seven boards.
