There's no place like home for North Judson-San Pierre, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the South Newton Rebels by a score of 5-2 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won four in a row.

Molly Madsen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Kenya Cooper was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Lambert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

North Judson-San Pierre's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for South Newton, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Judson-San Pierre beat the Rebels by a score of 13-3 later that day.
