South Point is a perfect 10-0 against Huss since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Red Raiders will challenge the Huskies at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Point has 11 straight wins, Huss has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

South Point proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by five) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Catawba Ridge 1-0. South Point's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Phoebe Smith, who's now up to 16 this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Huss' offense. They lost 5-0 to Kings Mountain on Monday.

South Point's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those six matchups. As for Huss, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2.

South Point took their win against Huss when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
