Millard North extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 18-11 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Lincoln North Star Navigators. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted against the Navigators since March 16, 2019.

Jack Starr looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
At the plate, Ripken Fleck was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 12 matches. Another player making a difference was Chase Machal, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Millard North hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln North Star struck out eight times.
As for Lincoln North Star, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
On Lincoln North Star's side, Austin Mckillip put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Mckillip hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Mckillip wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Sam Schaefer, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
As of now, neither Millard North nor Lincoln North Star have any future games scheduled.
