Basketball Game Preview: St. Michael the Archangel Guardians vs. Warrensburg Tigers

After both having extra time off, the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians and the Warrensburg Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Michael the Archangel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Warrensburg likes a good challenge.

Back in December of 2024, St. Michael the Archangel ended up a good deal behind Saint Thomas Aquinas and lost 78-63.

Meanwhile, Warrensburg scored the most points they've had this season last Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rockwood Summit. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Warrensburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

St. Michael the Archangel ended up a good deal behind Warrensburg in their previous matchup back in February of 2018, losing 69-53. Can St. Michael the Archangel avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
