Basketball Recap: Mount Ida Skates Past Western Yell County with Ease

Mount Ida won against Umpire last Friday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 69-41 stomp they got against the Western Yell County Wolverines. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory made it two in a row for Mount Ida and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Western Yell County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.
