Soccer Recap: Crystal Lake South Comes Up Short

Crystal Lake South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Belvidere North Blue Thunder. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Crystal Lake South it sure didn't stay that way.

Crystal Lake South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Belvidere North, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crystal Lake South will host Zion-Benton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belvidere North, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Freeport at 6:30 p.m.
