Pennington's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Locust Fork Hornets as they made off with a 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

With the victory, Pennington broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-14. As for Locust Fork, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Coincidentally, Pennington and Locust Fork will both be playing Appalachian the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
