Clarkson/Leigh won the last time they faced Wisner-Pilger and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Gators 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted against the Gators since October 10, 2020.

Clarkson/Leigh had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 27-25, 25-14.

Maizie Stoklasa paced Clarkson/Leigh's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stoklasa got some help from Kendall Schneider and her 27 assists. Vylet Hollatz and Ava Kasik kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Clarkson/Leigh's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Wisner-Pilger, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarkson/Leigh will square off against Pender on Thursday. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will face off against Oakland-Craig at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
