Basketball Recap: Exira-EHK Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Harrison last Friday, Exira-EHK came back down to earth. The Exira-EHK Spartans were dealt a 78-45 loss at the hands of Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center are ranked 46th).

Exira-EHK dropped their record down to 5-18 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

Exira-EHK does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, they will take on Audubon on Thursday.
