Basketball Game Preview: Jamestown Red & Green vs. Port Washington Vikings

The Jamestown Red & Green will square off against the Port Washington Vikings at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Jamestown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Port Washington likes a good challenge.

Jamestown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They snuck past Rush-Henrietta with a 69-64 win.

Meanwhile, Port Washington came tearing into Sunday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points), and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Thunderbirds 51-49.

Jamestown's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points over those games. As for Port Washington, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
