Soccer Recap: Hamilton Triumphs

Hamilton won the last time they faced Maywood Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Yankees walked away with a 5-3 victory over the Nighthawks. It was an even better day for Jorge Aviles as he scored three goals for his team.

Hamilton now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Maywood Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will venture away from home to challenge Westchester at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maywood Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Torres at 4:00 p.m. on January 12, 2026.
