Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Comes Up Short

Lakeland lost against Montrose back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chiefs lost 3-0 to the Meteors. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Lakeland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 25-22.

Lakeland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Montrose, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lakeland is set to take on their familiar foe Abington Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Montrose will challenge rival Mid Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
