Basketball Recap: Bucktail Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Bucktail Bucks came up short against the North Penn-Liberty Mountie and fell 67-55. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luke Kreger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Penn-Liberty, going 10-for-15 to rack up 23 points and six steals. Those 23 points gave Kreger a new career-high. Adynn Wheeland was another key player, shooting 55% from the field on his way to 15 points and five assists.

Bucktail's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for North Penn-Liberty, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Bucktail wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-30 win against Sullivan County on the 26th. North Penn-Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
