Baseball Recap: Antioch Takes a Loss

Antioch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles, falling 13-0. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch will venture away from home to square off against Stratford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, they will head out to face off against Clarksville Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
