Northwest Cabarrus won the last time they faced Cox Mill and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans strolled past the Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 54-38. The Trojans pushed the score to 43-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers cut but never quite recovered from.

When it comes to explaining why Cox Mill lost, don't look at Madison Alexander. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Northwest Cabarrus now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cox Mill, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
