Softball Recap: North Augusta Comes Up Short

North Augusta fell victim to Gray Collegiate Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the War Eagles, falling 9-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Yellow Jackets were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for North Augusta and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

North Augusta wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-3 win against Strom Thurmond on the 11th. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 17-1 victory against Brookland-Cayce on the 12th.
