Honaker entered their tilt with Tri-Cities Christian on Monday with 18 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 19. They took their match with ease, bagging a 55-25 victory over the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 66-58 loss.

Honaker's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alayna McNulty, who went 10-for-17 to rack up 22 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. With that strong performance, McNulty is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Kalli Miller, who made all 5 shots she took for 14 points.

Honaker was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tri-Cities Christian only racked up four assists.

Despite the loss, Tri-Cities Christian still got an impressive performance from Emery Haws, who posted 16 points and three steals. Haws has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times she's played.

Honaker's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 35% in those games and 27% outside of them. As for Tri-Cities Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.

Honaker has already played their next game, a 61-10 win against Chilhowie on the 12th. Tri-Cities Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middlesboro at 6:30 p.m. on February 21st.
