Volleyball Recap: Greenwich's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Greenwich had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Ludlowe Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Greenwich never let Ludlowe on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Greenwich found their leader in sophomore Bailee Dayon, who had 11 digs and five assists.

Greenwich was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ludlowe only served eight aces.

Greenwich's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Ludlowe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Greenwich is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ludlowe will square off against rival Danbury at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
