Volleyball Recap: South Pointe Triumphs

South Pointe won the last time they faced Richland Northeast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Stallions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cavaliers.

South Pointe had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 10-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-13.

South Pointe's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Richland Northeast, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, South Pointe and Richland Northeast will both be playing Camden the next time they take the court. The Stallions will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cavaliers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
