Volleyball Recap: St. David's Comes Up Short

St. David lost against Wake Christian Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-7, 25-6.

Among those leading the charge was Evann Curry, who had 14 digs and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six matchups.

St. David's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wake Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. David's is set to face off against their familiar foe Cary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wake Christian Academy will square off against rival Trinity Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
