Basketball Recap: Doniphan West Comes Up Short

Doniphan West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Axtell Eagles, falling 65-28. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Doniphan West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Axtell, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Doniphan West will challenge Centralia at 7:10 p.m. on February 4th. As for Axtell, they will welcome Lourdes Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
