Softball Recap: Annawan-Wethersfield Comes Up Short

Annawan-Wethersfield lost to Biggsville West Central back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Titans fell just short of the Heat by a score of 3-2. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Annawan-Wethersfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Biggsville West Central, they pushed their record up to 24-2-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Annawan-Wethersfield will face off against Mercer County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Biggsville West Central, they will challenge Illini West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
