After losing to Moon Area the last time they met, South Fayette decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions walked away with an 8-4 win over the Tigers on Wednesday.

South Fayette is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Moon Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Fayette is set to face off against their familiar foe Chartiers Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Moon Area will challenge rival Upper St. Clair at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
