It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Calvert can now relate to. They fell just short of the Newark Catholic Green Wave by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Senecas' loss signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Calvert saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Coleman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Calvert's defeat dropped their record down to 27-4. As for Newark Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Calvert nor Newark Catholic have any future games scheduled.
