After both having extra time off, the Flandreau Fliers and the Parker Pheasants will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flandreau is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Flandreau came up short against Beresford and fell 3-1. While the Fliers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Watchdogs 25-22 in the first set.
Flandreau started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-12, 25-12, 27-25.
Meanwhile, Parker posted their biggest win since October 2, 2023 last Thursday. They put the hurt on Irene/Wakonda with a sharp 3-0 victory.
Parker's got stronger as the match went on, holding Irene/Wakonda to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-19, 25-14.
