Basketball Recap: Garces Memorial Comes Up Short

Garces Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 87-48 loss at the hands of the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-19.

Garces Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for San Joaquin Memorial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Garces Memorial will welcome Stockdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Joaquin Memorial, they will venture away from home to challenge Sanger at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Joaquin Memorial knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Sanger likes a good challenge.
