Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran was the 2-0 winner over South County when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell 2-0 to the Vipers on Tuesday.

Lutheran may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Lutheran has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for South County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Lutheran will venture away from home to face off against Griggsville-Perry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South County, they will face off against Litchfield at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
