Calera barely beat Chilton County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Calera Eagles never let the Chilton County Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Calera's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12. As for Chilton County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Coming up, Calera will head out on the road to face off against Tuscaloosa County at 2:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Chilton County, they will host Bibb County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
