Manchester extended their home winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Madison Smith. The Lancers took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 77-10 victory over the James River Midlothian Rapids for which the team can thank Smith, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Keileen Edwards, who shot 67% from the field en route to 16 points. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.2% field goal percentage.

Manchester's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for James River Midlothian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
