Baseball Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Find Success

Eagle Ridge Academy won the last time they faced North Lakes Academy and things went their way on Monday too. Eagle Ridge Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against North Lakes Academy, sneaking past 13-12. That's two games straight that Eagle Ridge Academy has won by just one run.

Eagle Ridge Academy got a massive performance out of Jay Williams, who went 1-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Williams a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brennan Young, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Eagle Ridge Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-7-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for North Lakes Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Eagle Ridge Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Lakes Academy, they will face off against Heritage Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
