Roxbury had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders. For the Gaels, this counts as revenge for the 15-12 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

The team relied heavily on Frankie Falco, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Ryan Parker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Roxbury's record is now 10-5-1. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they moved to 10-4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Roxbury will face off against Hanover Park on Friday. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they will square off against Oratory Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
