Soccer Game Preview: Roane County vs. Livingston Academy

The Roane County Yellowjackets will head out to challenge the Livingston Academy Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Roane County will be strutting in after a victory while Livingston Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Roane County turned things around against McMinn Central on Thursday. They came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Livingston Academy fell victim to William Blount and their airtight defense on Sunday. They lost 4-0 to the Governors. The loss was Livingston Academy's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Livingston Academy fell to 3-1-2. As for Roane County, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Roane County beat Livingston Academy 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roane County since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
