Soccer Game Preview: Times Squared Academy vs. Toll Gate

The Times Squared Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Toll Gate Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Times Squared Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Times Squared Academy's offense. They lost 4-0 to Juanita Sanchez Complex on Friday.

Meanwhile, Toll Gate faced Pilgrim in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Titans and the Patriots finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Toll Gate's first draw of the season.

Toll Gate's draw makes their record 14-2-1 this season. As for Times Squared Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Times Squared Academy might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from Toll Gate when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Eagles were down 6-0.
