Idalou had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Slaton on Saturday. The Idalou Wildcats blew past the Slaton Tigers 13-7. Considering the Wildcats have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Idalou is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.
