Basketball Recap: Dudley Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dudley couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles by a score of 50-48 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since January 18th.

Dudley's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Ben L. Smith, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-3.

Dudley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ben L. Smith, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crest knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 contests -- so hopefully Ben L. Smith likes a good challenge.
