Baseball Recap: Middleton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leto, Middleton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Freedom Patriots by a score of 7-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Darrion Marchman was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Tate Hancock was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Middleton picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Freedom, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Middleton has already played their next match, an 8-1 loss against Clearwater on the 13th. As for Freedom, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-6 defeat against Jefferson on the 13th.
