Clare extended the longest winning streak in Jack Pine this week by beating Meridian, 24-13. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Pioneers.
Roscommon took down Beaverton 42-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brett Jobin ran for 254 yards during the win.
Gladwin's dynamic duo of Demetri Trice and Kyle Bigelow proved tough for Harrison to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Trice threw for 185 yards and 1 touchdown and Bigelow had 83 yards receiving. Oshay Lewis helped Gladwin's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 51 yards.
Dylan Andrews made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bucks topped the Beavers. The 6-foot-5 senior grabbed 2 sacks.
Jobin was a beast in the backfield as Roscommon bested Beaverton.
Clare's Colton Punches and Joe Huston led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Punches has thrown for 890 yards this season, while Huston has 21 catches for 397 yards. Joe Holloway's team's Jobin leads the league in rushing yards with 1,836.
The Bucks made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,872 from 10,314. The improvement was the result of a 42-14 victory over Mark Grove's team last week.
