Volleyball Recap: Rockmart Takes a Loss

Rockmart had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pepperell Dragons on Saturday. The Yellowjackets were not able to make up for their loss to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Amazia Christopher paced Rockmart's offense, picking up six kills. Christopher were helped by Kimberlyn Pavon and Briley Malone, who contributed four assists each.

The victory got Pepperell back to even at 1-1.

Rockmart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Model on the 9th. As for Pepperell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Cedartown on the 9th.
